On Saturday March 15, ten members of the club went on a brewery tour in scenic Cooperstown.
The day started at the Brewery Ommegang with a tour and tasting.
In addition, there were samples of pot roast prepared using Ommegang beer by the chef from the Oneonta Elk’s Club.
Next stop was the Cooperstown Brewing Company, this time skipping the tour and going straight for the tasting.
Running out of breweries, the crew landed back in Cooperstown at Cooley’s Stone House Tavern.
This was the second visit to Ommegang and the tavern; this is starting to look like a regular outing!
